Marble Fireplace and Faux Walls

We faux finished right over these ceramic tile to make what was a stark white Fireplace surround into something warm and attractive. We warmed up the walls with red tones and bordered it with a faux stone look in warm golds. This was the starting point. Look at how hight the ceiling is in this room. The opposite wall is nothing but windows all the way up! Beautiful! The huge amounts of sunlight coming into this room really allowed up to put some rich color on the wall.
